WSRCC’s Board of Directors is made up of volunteer Adult Family Home providers elected to a three year term based on their regional location in the state. The purpose of the Board, on behalf of WSRCC’s membership, is to ensure the WSRCC achieves appropriate results for the membership at an appropriate cost. The Board commits itself and its members to ethical, professional, and lawful conduct, including proper use of authority and appropriate decorum when acting as Board members.

Responsibilities include:

• Determine the Organization’s Mission and Purpose
• Recruit, supervise, retain, evaluate and compensate executive director
• Govern and support the organization and the relationship with the executive director
• Ensure Effective Organizational Planning
• Ensure Adequate Resources
• Manage Resources Effectively
• Determine and Monitor the Organization’s Programs and Services
• Enhance the Organization’s Public Image
• Assess its Own Performance
